Frequently Asked Questions
Where will it work: Service is available across Canada, within the Rogers cell phone coverage area. Data is unlimited. International service, including in the United States, is unavailable.
Who can borrow: Any teen or adult cardholder (13 years of age and older).
How to borrow and return: Just like any book in the collection, Wi-Fi hotspots can be reserved and picked up at the Library during open hours. Do not return through the bookdrop, as they are easily damaged.
Overdue and replacement: If the device becomes overdue, the Library will disable it until it is returned. The replacement fee for Wi-Fi Hotspots is up to $250 for a lost or damaged device and/or accessories
Charging the Wi-Fi Hotspot: In order to keep the Wi-Fi Hotspots available to the public as often as possible, the Library cannot ensure that they are fully charged upon check out. It is the responsibility of the borrower to adequately charge the Wi-Fi Hotspot by using the charging cable and instructions provided.
Privacy: BWG Library does not monitor, collect, or store data about users’ internet activity. All users must abide by the Internet Access Policy and Wireless Policy. There is no guarantee the hotspot Wi-Fi connection will be entirely private.

Instructions
1. Power the device on.
2. Tap menu.
3. Tap Wi-Fi.
4. Tap Wi-Fi name/password.
5. Navigate to Wi-Fi on your device.
6. Select the Wi-Fi name that is displayed on the hotspot.
7. Enter the password that is displayed on the hotspot.
