In 2023, the Bradford United Church closed its doors after serving the community for over 180 years. This display celebrates the history of this local institution, which is also one of the oldest buildings in Bradford West Gwillimbury. On display are items and artifacts donated by the Bradford United Church, including one of the church's original bibles predating Confederation.

Space is granted at no cost, and anyone can apply for consideration. We encourage applications from artists at all stages of their career, and working in a variety of two-dimensional mediums, including painting, drawing, mixed media, textile art, print, and photography. Exhibits are typically installed for two to three months.
The Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library and Cultural Centre encourages applications from artists who have a relationship with, and/or live in and around Bradford West Gwillimbury. As a Cultural Centre, we also seek to display work that celebrates the diversity of our community. We strongly encourage applications from artists who identify as Indigenous, Black, Racialized, Disabled, and 2SLGBTQ+.
Photos of the hanging exhibit display spaces can be found in this document (pdf).
Display Cases
The Library and Cultural Centre has two large Display Cases: the Main Floor Display Case and the Local History Room Display Case. Space is granted to individuals, groups, and organizations at no cost, and anyone can apply for consideration. For the Main Floor Display Case, we encourage applications from artists and cultural groups seeking to display three-dimensional objects, sculpture, artefacts, and/or visually appealing educational material. Exhibits in the Display Cases are typically installed for one month.
The Library and Cultural Centre encourages applications from individuals, groups, and organizations who have a relationship with Bradford West Gwillimbury. As a Cultural Centre, we also seek to promote displays that celebrate our community's heritage and cultural diversity. We strongly encourage applications from individuals and groups who have a mandate and interest in promoting dates or months of cultural commemoration, or platforming events, persons, objects, and educational information that are relevant to local histories.
Please note that the Library and Cultural Centre also uses both Display Cases to promote Library-led initiatives. Display space is subject to availability.
