You can also just sit, relax, and enjoy as neighbours go round the circle and each share something they're working on. All ages and experience levels welcome, and we hope to see you there! Considering running for election but not sure if political office is for you?
If you have questions or would like to know more about running for election (or getting involved in politics), join us for a panel discussion featuring a diverse group of organizations with experience supporting candidates of varied backgrounds.
Panelists include Tara Reynolds, BWG Town Clerk, Velma Morgan from Operation Black Vote, Laura Wood from ElectHer, and Sydney Penner and Erika De Torres from Apathy is Boring, to learn more about the election process, what issues potential candiates might face and how to be an actively engaged citizen.
This program is designed for teens and adults.

We are happy to accept your donations for the Book Sale. However, please keep in mind that we do not accept magazines, textbooks, encyclopedia sets, Reader's Digest volumes or sets, or any items that are torn, damaged or musty/moldy.
You can drop off your donations to the Library during our regular hours. Please check with staff at the Service Desk when you arrive and they will direct you regarding where to leave your donations. Thank you for thinking of us!
