Black Resistance highlights the strength, resilience, and persverance of Black communities throughout history. Black resistance has been crucial in the fight against systemic oppression and racism, and it has inspired movements for social justice and equality around the world.

Making Change Gala and Exhibit

Gala Opening

Thursday, February 1 • 6 - 8 p.m.

 

Join us for the opening of this exhibit showcasing the art work of talented Black youth aged 13-18.

 

The opening gala will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.in the Zima Room and will feature music, and refreshments. 

 

The exhibit will be on display at the Library from Feb 1 to 11, and then will move to the McLaren Art Centre in Barrie.
