Seniors Fun with Art

_

Spark joy, self-expression, and connection through hands-on creativity.

Join Melissa de Castro, a passionate educator and creative facilitator, for an art session especially for seniors.

This engaging session will explore a variety of artistic experiences, including watercolour painting, flower pot decorating, sensory-rich salt dough/clay creations, and more. These activities are not only enjoyable but also deeply beneficial-supporting fine motor skills, reducing stress, and encouraging cognitive stimulation. For seniors, especially those experiencing cognitive decline, creative expression can spark memories, improve mood, and enhance communication in gentile, accessible ways.

Come create, connect, and experience the joy of art in a welcoming, relaxed setting. No experience needed!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
