Read for your Ward
Read for your Ward
A summer reading challenge for the ages! Join the community-wide Read for Your Ward challenge, running from June 20 to August 21.
Open to adults, families, teens, and kids—including those already registered for the TD Summer Reading Club—this friendly competition invites everyone to track their reading minutes and help their ward come out on top. The ward with the most minutes wins ultimate bragging rights and a spot on our commemorative plaque, and the top reader in each ward will also receive a special prize!
How to Participate
Download or pick up a log card at the Summer Reading Club (SRC) desk in the Café. Physical logs can be returned to the SRC desk anytime between June 20 and August 15.
Record how many minutes you read. All reading counts: books, magazines, audiobooks, eBooks, and even reading aloud to others.
Submit your minutes each week and watch the challenge come to life in real time. Please do not wait to submit all of your hours at the end of the summer!
Not sure which ward you live in? Type your address into the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury’s Interactive Ward Map.
McDonald's Treat Coupon: All participants receive a coupon just for participating! Visit the SRC desk in the Cafe to receive yours (generously donated by McDonald's at 347 Yonge Street in Barrie). *while supplies last
Log Minutes
Log your hours by August 21 for a chance to win!
