🐳 Read Books, Win Prizes! Join the Club!
Description
Join in the fun at the library, and avoid the summer slide, by participating in the TD Summer Reading Club: Canada’s biggest summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests, and abilities.
Be entered to win prizes, read new books, and join us each week, all summer long, for fun programs and activities.
Club Dates
Saturday, June 20 - Friday, August 21

Registration & Participation
Stop by the Summer Reading Club Desk in the Cafe any time between June 20 and August 21, 2026, to pick up your TD SRC notebook to track your reading and a ticket to write down your reading goals.
Kids of all ages and abilities, even pre-readers, can participate in the TD Summer Reading Club.
Use your TD Summer Reading Club Notebook to track your reading all summer long. Any kind of reading counts: books, braille, magazines, audio books and more! Kids may also use their notebooks to draw pictures or scribble notes inspired by what they read.
Summer is busy, so kids get to set their own reading goals: read as many books, minutes, or hours as you like to participate. Everyone who reaches their reading goals wins a free book and pencil.
Come to the Summer Reading Club desk in the Cafe during desk hours to let us know when you have reached your reading goals and receive a ballot to win one of the grand prizes. Let us know that you have met your reading goals no later than the Wrap-up party on Friday, August 21.
Prizes & Incentives
Participating in the TD Summer Reading Club will enter you for a chance to win one of 5 grand prizes! Prizes include mystery prize packs and a gift certificate to the library’s Creative Lab.
Everyone who reaches their reading goals will win a free book and pencil! Additionally, kids can win small prizes by participation in weekly challenges all summer long at the Summer Reading Club desk.
From June 20- August 21 stop by the Summer Reading Club Desk to participate in weekly challenges and activities for a chance to win more prizes.
