Our Purpose
This is a free community workspace dedicated to fueling your imagination. We provide high-end equipment, technology, and software for learning, skill development, creative expression, and digital preservation. We provide the tools, you provide the vision.
The Lab is here to support your goals:
- Preserve cherished family memories by digitizing old film and tapes.
- Explore a new hobby like 3D printing, vinyl cutting, sewing, or robotics.
- Develop skills needed to start a business or personal project.
- Design and print signage for a special event.
- Repair and finish clothing.
Essential Information
📚 Library Card Required
A valid Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library card in good standing is required to use the Creative Lab and its equipment.
Don't have a card? Visit the Service Desk to sign up for free or register online!
⏰ Open Hours
Tuesdays | 9:30 - 11:30 am, 1:30 - 4:15 pm
Wednesdays | 2:00 - 4:30 pm, 6:00 - 8:30 pm
Thursdays | 2:00 - 4:30 pm, 6:00 - 8:30 pm
Alternating Saturdays | 10:00 - 11:30 am, 1:00 - 4:30 pm

🚧 Usage Limitations
The Creative Lab operates under guidelines to ensure fair access:
- Time limits apply to equipment use during busy periods.
- We support learning and small-scale projects.
- Production of weapons or illegal materials is prohibited.
⚠️ Safety First
Your safety and the protection of the equipment are our top priorities.
- Always wear appropriate PPE as instructed by staff.
- Children under 12 must be actively supervised by an adult.
- Report any equipment malfunction to staff immediately.
Code of Conduct
To create a positive and productive environment for everyone, all users must adhere to the following principles:
- Respect the space, the equipment, and other users' projects and property.
- Clean up your work area completely, including disposing of scraps and returning tools.
- Use equipment only for its intended, legal, and non-destructive purposes.
- Ask a staff member before introducing outside materials or tools into the Lab.
