Simcoe Reads

Five Libraries. Five Books. One Winner.

Based on Canada Reads, five local libraries will be squaring off against each other to champion their book and debate why their book is the one that Simcoe County should read this year.

BWG Library's champion, Noora Akhavan, invites community members to participate by reading Empire of Wild by Cherie Dimaline. Encompassing themes of colonialism, love, family and community, this novel is an inventive, engrossing and thrilling read.

Over the next three months, read Empire of Wild and participate by joining the BWG Library’s activities in support of Simcoe Reads.  For more information check out our Simcoe Reads page or check for updates on the BWG Library's Facebook.
