Update to Curbside Pick Up

We are working to get you material faster. We now have convenient email notification for when your items are becoming available and you no longer need an appointment to pick up materials. Please read over the information below for all the details on how to use the BWG Library's Curbside Pick Up service.

Process for Curbside Pick Up

  • Place reservations on the materials you would like to pick up through the Library Catalogue. If you need assistance call 905-775-3328 ext. 6109 for help. If you do not know how to access your account, or place a reservation, please email bwgcirc@bradford.library.on.ca for assistance or try the chat function on the website.

  • You will receive a confirmation email when your hold is processed by staff.  Please allow 24-hours for your hold to be processed. After that, you are welcome to come to the BWG Library any time Monday, Tuesday or Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. or Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  You will have one week to pick up your materials, after which your holds will be cancelled.

  • When you arrive at the Library, park in the designated parking spaces and do not block the flow of traffic.  There will be signs indicating where to park. Please remember to bring your library card or make sure you have your library card number with you. You will need this to get your materials.

  • Call the Library to let the librarians know you have arrived.  The phone number (905-775-3328 ext. 6100) will be displayed in the parking lot.  If the line is busy, please leave a message and remain in the car and we will return your call.

  • A librarian will place your materials on a table just outside the sliding doors at the front of the Library for you to pick up.

  • For the health and safety of staff and borrowers, please remain in your car or behind the yellow line until the librarian has gone back into the building.
